These FOUR ingredient Caramel Biscuits couldn’t be easier to make!
For a delicious sweet treat you really can’t go wrong with these Caramel Biscuits. They are a great biscuit for filling up your snack container and they are also freezer friendly, which makes them a perfect recipe to make in advance.
You guys know that I’m all for recipes that don’t take much time or ingredients to put tother, and all you need is FOUR ingredients to make these yummy biscuits – and you probably already have them in your pantry!
The Four Ingredients You Will Need:
Another great thing about this recipe is that you can make these biscuits using just one saucepan, you just want to make sure you choose one which is big enough to hold all of your ingredients. You will get around 40 biscuits from this recipe, however you can also halve it if you wish – or pop any leftovers biscuits into the freezer to enjoy another time.

Four Ingredient Caramel Biscuits
All you need is FOUR INGREDIENTS to make these easy Caramel Biscuits! They are freezer friendly and both regular and Thermomix instructions included.
Prep Time20 mins
Cooling and Chilling Time20 mins
Line 2 oven trays with baking paper and set aside until needed. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Place the butter, golden syrup and brown sugar into a large saucepan ( you want it to be big enough to fit the flour in as well) and cook over a medium/low heat for 4 – 5 minutes or until the ingredients have melted and the mixture is a lovely golden brown colour. Remove the saucepan from the stove and let it cool for 5 minutes.
Add the self raising flour and mix well until a soft dough forms.
Place the mixture into the fridge for 15 minutes to chill.
Use a teaspoon to scoop up the mixture and gently roll into a balls.
Place onto your prepared trays and flatten slightly with the back of a fork.
Bake for 10 – 12 minutes before removing from the oven. Let the biscuits cool on the oven trays for 10 minutes before carefully transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Thermomix Instructions
Line 2 oven trays with baking paper and set aside until needed. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Place the butter (which has been cut into 3cm pieces), golden syrup and brown sugar into your Thermomix bowl. Cook for 4 minutes, 80 degrees, speed 2.
Scrape down the sides of your Thermomix bowl and add the self raising flour. Mix for 10 seconds, speed 4.
Scrape down the sides of your Thermomix bowl and select the ‘kneading’ function. Mix for 30 seconds or until a soft dough has formed.
Place your Thermomix bowl into the fridge for 15 minutes to chill the dough.
Use a teaspoon to scoop up the mixture and gently roll into a balls.
Place onto your prepared trays and flatten slightly with the back of a fork.
Bake for 10 – 12 minutes before removing from the oven. Let the biscuits cool on the oven trays for 10 minutes before carefully transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
- Please note these biscuits are best stored in an airtight container and they will soften after a day or two.
- This recipe will give you approximately 40 biscuits, you will need to bake them in multiple batches.
- These biscuits are also freezer friendly.
